Jocelyn Wright as Sister in Late Night Catechism
Playing the role of Sister in the award winning, one-woman, franchised series of plays, “The Late Nite Catechism” which includes a musical about the history of Bingo and the Catholic Church I have traveled the continent for many years. This play has delighted audiences around the world. Created in Chicago, it uses a well-crafted script mixed with improvisation to educate as well as entertain. I have also been privileged to work as an acting partner to other actors to help bring out their excellence. Primarily working with Kyra Sedgwick for seven years on The Closer, but many others as well. I am now eager to get character work as I am an all-natural woman who is excited to bring the real me to the audience, most of whom are rounder and less perfect than actors. So the audience will relate to me as they have related to me in person for so many years as Sister and I can represent what people really look like outside of Hollywood’s idealized image.
